Scheduling & Dispatch

The Scheduling and Dispatch department is a group of talented aviation professionals that ensure our clients receive the highest level of safety and service for every flight.  We focus on each trip to give guests the product that has made Tradewind extremely successful.

The Scheduling team focuses on making the necessary resources available, providing sales with options for clients and finalizing schedules 48 hours in advance of each flight.  Dispatch executes the flight schedule by ensuring that all trip planning functions have been finalized prior to scheduled departure.  Scheduling and Dispatch guarantees the following items are always being met:
  • Clients First – Scheduling and Dispatch work with the sales team to provide options that satisfy our client’s needs.  Our mission is to provide the highest level of service for guests and make sure they stay at the center of our operation.
  • Communication – Scheduling and Dispatch is at the heart of Tradewind’s operation.  Therefore, we are the central source for information and planning.  Our team notifies our clients of aircraft movement and provides updates to our Client Services and Sales teams when irregular operations occur.
  • Trip Planning – The Dispatch team arranges all logistics required for every flight.  This includes daily weather checks, international handling, passenger and crew logistics and many more.  The goal is always to make sure we have the best possible service arranged for our clients.
  • Flight Tracking – Dispatch is responsible for tracking every flight at Tradewind Aviation, 24/7.  This is essential to ensure every flight, passenger and crew member is safe.
  • Resources – Scheduling plans all crew and aircraft availability to meet the needs of our guests and the company revenue goals.  This includes having the correct crew and aircraft needed to meet the targets set by the organization.
  • Optimization – The Scheduling and Dispatch teams collaborate daily to create a cost-effective schedule and identify areas where additional resources are necessary.
  • Network Planning – Scheduling is responsible for forecasting and building our scheduled service flight schedules.  We research and identify the best options for clients.  We also make sure we have the right number of flights and the best possible times.  The Scheduling team works with the Scheduled Service team to better the quality of our flight schedules.
